9/3/09 - HOA Board Meeting held at Carrow's Restaurant 6:00 pm.  The newly elected Board adopted the minutes from HOA meeting July 28, 2009.  Agenda for September 3, 2009 meeting can be viewed CLICK HERE.

The ballots for the election of the board were tallied and counted By ERA Property Management at the meeting in the presents of all attendees.  The following homeowners were elected as the managing Board of Directors for Villa Hermosa II:
Darren Hardesty - President VHII HOA
Armando Martinez - Vice President
Francisco Lagarda - Treasurer
Vincente Escareno - Secretary
Porfirio Huerta - Board Member

The Board voted on the approval of the Association Architectural & General Guidelines v1 5/29/09. These Guidelines define specific rules for all homeowners & tenants.  In addition the board voted on the Summary of Fine Policy included in the Architectural and General Guideline.  Board voted in favor of implementing the Association Architectural & General Guidelines v1 5/29/09 with no modifications.  This document can be viewed by clicking on the name above, or on the "Resources" page of this web site.

Next Board Meeting will be held at the Pool Area of Villa Hermosa II at 6:00pm.  The Board encourages all Homeowners to attend the HOA Meetings.

IMPORTANT NOTICE  - Villa Hermosa I Property
There are two separate communities and homeowner association within the gated community of Villa Hermosa II.  The homes know as “Villa Hermosa 1” located on the North West corner of the property is a separate association and not part of Villa Hermosa II HOA.  More importantly, the property and association property of Villa Hermosa 1 is not accessible to the owners/tenants of Villa Hermosa II HOA. 

The pool and its facilities located north of the parking area is owned and maintained by Villa Hermosa 1.  Owners and tenants of Villa Hermosa II HOA are not permitted to use the pool and pool facilities owned by Villa Hermosa 1. 

The tennis courts and its facilities located north of the parking area is owned and maintained by Villa Hermosa 1.  Owners and tenants of Villa Hermosa II HOA are not permitted to use the tennis courts and its facilities owned by Villa Hermosa 1. 

The play equipment and play facilities located north of the parking area is owned and maintained by Villa Hermosa 1.  Owners and tenants of Villa Hermosa II HOA are not permitted to use the play equipment and play facilities owned by Villa Hermosa 1. 

Villa Hermosa 1 also has Architectural and General Guidelines.  Owner/tenants from Villa Hermosa II may be liable for fines and/or property damage if found responsible for violating Villa Hermosa 1 architectural and general guidelines. 

Do Not Trespass on Villa Hermosa 1 Property.

10-27-2010  Next Board Meeting is scheduled for Nov 30th 6:00pm at Carrow's Restrauant in Calexico.  Please make time to attend the meeting.  You may have noticed there is a new lock at the pool gate!  The board will vote on the proposed Pool Gate Card Key and Access Privlege Policy.  Homeowners will receive a letter describing the proposed policy.  The Board welcomes all owners to attend the meeting and give idaes on how we can improve our community.  September Meeting Minutes - Click Here

12/7/10  The New Pool Gate Policy was voted on and passed at the Board Meeting 11/30/10.  New Pool Key Cards were mailed on Monday 12/6 to all owners / tenants that met the policy requirments.  You must have a new key card to access the Pool Area. The old key will not open the pool gates. CLICK HERE for a list of Pool Keys mailed.  If you didn't receive a key in the mail and your home is on the list please contact Darren @ 858-679-8500.

2/22/11  Next Board Meeting is our Annual Meeting.  We will be voting on the 2011 Budget and selecting Nominees for the Board of Directors. March 29th at 6:00pm  Carrow's Rest in Calexico

Graffiti and vandalism has become more frequent in our community.  We have noticed a lot more spray paint and markings on the trash enclosures and carports in the past months.  Our landscape maintenance personal have been coving up graffiti as we find it.  The graffiti is ugly and if we don’t try to stop it, the value of our homes will decrease.

As a community of home owners, it is important of all of us to help protect our investment.  Please watch for any destructive behavior.  If you see anyone defacing or vandalizing our property you can contact one of the board members or the property manager (ERA).  You can choose to remain anonymous, that is OK just please help us stop the graffiti.

Graffiti y vandalismo se han vuelto mucho más frecuentes en nuestra comunidad. Hemos notado en los últimos meses un incremento de pintura en aerosol y marcadores en los contenedores de basura y cocheras. Nuestro personal de mantenimiento ha estado borrando el graffiti al momento de ser descubierto. El graffiti es feo y si no tratamos de detenerlo, el valor de nuestras casas disminuirá.

Por ser una comunidad de propietarios, es importante la ayuda de todos nosotros para ayudar a proteger nuestra inversión. Por favor, observe cualquier comportamiento destructivo. Si ves a alguien desfigurar o destrozar nuestra propiedad puedes comunicarte con uno de los miembros de la junta o el administrador de la propiedad (ERA).

6/21/11  The Pool Gate has a new Key Card lock.  Each owner should have received new Key Card Pool Gate Policy information in the mail.  We hope the new Key Card System will help keep the Pool Area safe and clean for our homeowners & residents.

In addition to the upgraded gate, we also installed security cameras at the pool area.  the camera have 24 hr 7 days a week video.  Soon we will have a live feed from the pool area on this website.   We are looking forward to a safe and fun summer at the pool area.  Let's all help keep the area clean by throwing away trash and cleaning up after using the Pool Area.

4/23/12 - Next Board Meeting is April 24th, at 12:00pm (noon) Carrow's Restaurant in Calexico
7/6/12 - Next Board Meeting is July 31st 2012 at 12:00pm (noon) Carrow's Restaurant in Calexico.  We are happy to welcome Marina Selwick to the VHII HOA Board of Directors.  We have experienced some vandalism and disruptive behavior at the pool area in the past few months.  This type of behavior will only cost the HOA money and lower the value of our property.   The Board members will not tolerate this type of behavior and we are researching the individuals responsible.
We encourage home owners to attend the monthly HOA meetings.

7/10/13 - Next Board Meeting is July 30st 2013 at 5:00pm Carrow's Restaurant in Calexico.  Hope you are having a wonderful summer!  This year the Board was forced to hire pool security due to the increasing amount of vandalism at the pool area.  We are also experiencing issues with the pool gate lock and may experience unforeseen closures of the pool area until we can get the pool gate fixed.  Thanks for your patience and understanding
